Characteristics:

Detached large building with main floor on high basement, set on a rectangular floor plan. Over core area two adjoining, elongated gable roofs flanked by funnel-shaped gables with 19th-century tops. Galleries with lean-to roofs extend along the south facade and the short east and west facades, with roof tiles also visible from underneath. Gallery on the south facade is mostly open. A 20th century addition on the eastern side includes a large walled terrace and staircase. On the western side, a 20th-century extension with a carillon. Former guardhouse is located a short distance to the east.

Monument value:

Architectural and cultural-historical value as a former military hospital in the traditional architectural style, featuring 19th-century gable tops and galleries, located at the former outskirts of the inner city.
