Detached two-storey structure with ridge of front section parallel to square. Hipped roofs over T-shaped floor plan; flat roofs over additions in inner corners of T. Cornice over façades, dentate quoins on corners. Front façade with full-frontage decorated triangular fronton above projecting cornice. Façade laid out in five axes. Windows and central portico with triangular frontons. Plinth on both sides of portico.
Architectural historical value because of a.o. the balanced symmetrical lay-out of the façades, the classicist decorations of the front façade in particular and the prominent location at Wilhelminaplein. Cultural historical value because it was built by the Freemasons Lodge ‘ De Vergenoeging’. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
