Scattered artifacts on ground surface and subsoil deposits of archaeological artifacts and soil structures dating back 4500 to 1500 years. Site is approximately 1500 square meters and is part of a valley system adjacent to a limestone rock formation north of Souax which includes a settlement, a water catchment area and rock painting sites of the first human beings on the island. Oldest archaeological site on the island.
Scientific value because of the soundness of the artifacts and the subsoil structure and as the oldest archaeological location on the island. Cultural historical value as one of the ten preserved large sites identified on Curaçao dating from the Archaic Age.
