Description
These modest annex buildings were part of the Bellevue estate, just like the house on the left. The dwellings, positioned at the property’s edge, were either for staff or available for rent. The slanted roofs, with the higher side facing the street, are common features of these basic annexes. At the back of the houses, you can still see the old chimneys of the former fireplaces. Eugène Gazan bought the property in 1874 and he likely rebuilt these annexes along with the main building he named Bellevue.
