Complex parochie “Onze lieve Vrouw van Goede Raad”, Jandoret
Roman Catholic church with oblong floor plan. Lower rectangular extensions at east end on both sides. Gabled roofs over nave and extensions. Bell tower with steep gable roof on the west side. Paired windows with stained glass in pointed arches. Front façade on west side: recessed central door with canopy on top, two windows on both sides. Opening in the shape of a Latin cross with stained-glass above central door. Interior is articulated by wooden and curved truss construction that supports roof. Additional buildings: presbytery, sister house and school that initially also served as church.
Architectural and cultural-historical value because traditional style of the presbytery, the sister house and the school; architectural and cultural-historical value because of typical construction of the church and the application of stained-glass; historical ensemble value as part of the history of Jandoret parish; cultural-historical and ethnographical value as part of the RC mission on Curaçao.
