Large detached complex with composite floor plan built on sloping terrain. 18th Century main building with three rear additions. Main building laid out on elevated platform. Gable roof over two-storey core area, adjoining slant roofs over surrounding galleries. Three dormers on both sides of roof. Inward and outward curved gables with semicircular top end and classical moulding. Front façade with central stairs with landing and stairs to balconies on both sides. Three adjoining rear additions with hipped roofs along Langestraat, the corner additions connected with main building with corridor on attic level.
Architectural historical value because of a.o. the complicated assembly of structures reflecting a typical building history, the inward and outward curved gables, remnants of a former arched gallery and decorated rubble pavement. Architectural historical and cultural historical value because of the floor plan with core area and galleries typical of Curaçao. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
