Large detached two-storey structure overlooking Scharloo. Composite symmetrical floor and roof plan. Core area, front and rear galleries covered by three parallel hipped roofs. Rear pavilions with wings and enclosed patio. Two symmetrically positioned cisterns built against the side walls of garden and connected by aqueducts to main building. Cornice over all façades. Front façade: triangular fronton with cornice and dentils, medallion and flat triangles. Façade lay-out in five axes. Large full- frontage balcony.
Architectural historical value because of the regular and symmetrical lay-out and the characteristic façade details. Architectural historical and cultural historical value because of the floor plan with core, galleries, patio and wings typical of Scharloo. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
