Name: Goede Hoop
Dwelling with three small dependencies plus cistern. Main building consists of an interconnected east and west unit. Roof ridges are in line and parallel to Penstraat.
East unit: core area and front gallery have two storeys, back gallery has one storey. Core area has saddle roof enclosed by funnel-shaped gables with small pediment on top. West unit: one storey consisting of core area flanked by galleries. East end of core roof connects to wall of east unit, westside of roof has sloping end. Dormers on either side of core roof. Lean-to roofs on galleries. Terrace in front of the house.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value as a historical house on Penstraat with a core and galleries, a lay-out typical of Curaçao, and because of the deviating components of the main building, plus the special gable top; ensemble value as a dwelling with dependencies and a cistern.
