Two identical small one-storey structures with ridges parallel to street and separated by a narrow entrance to back yard. Rectangular floor plans covered with gable roofs enclosed by funnel-shaped gables with 19th century top ends. Front façades with two alternating doors and windows for each structure.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value as examples of sober low-cost dwellings with characteristics of 19th century traditional architecture. Cultural historical value as part of the old built-up area of Penstraat which consisted both of luxurious mansions and modest houses.
