Semi-detached one-storey structure with rear addition. Oldest known structure on PietermaaiSmal. Main structure with ridge parallel to street. Gable roof over core area, adjoining slant roofs over front and rear gallery. Funnel- shaped gable with shoulders; top end with triangular fronton above rectangular moulding. Dormer on both sides of roof. Front façade with central door and flanking windows. Front terrace with pillared fence and stone bench against footing. Rear addition with slant roof and high end ranging with alley.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value because of the floor plan with core and front gallery typical of Curaçao, and rear addition. Architectural historical value as oldest dated dwelling of PietermaaiSmal with well-preserved characteristic 18th century gable top. Ditto, as a rare remnant of 18th century building along the former trunk road ‘Stenen Pad’ from Punda. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
