Large detached two-storey structure with main structure and additional buildings. Main structure with symmetrical set-up and rectangular floor plan covered with four parallel hipped roofs. Dormers on short hipped ends of roofs. Front and rear portico in central axis. Profiled cornice over façades, dentate quoins on corners. Front façade with two sets of three coupled windows with arched weather mouldings on both sides of portico. Symmetrical winding stairs to portico balcony. Two so-called azoteas – one-storey square blocks with terrace and open stonework balustrade on flat roof – on corners of front yard.
Architectural historical value because of a.o. the portico typical of Scharloo and the azoteas. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
