Concrete-built structure with large street frontage. Two storeys with low attic. Type of original roof unknown. Front façade with symmetrical lay-out in eleven axes with shutter doors and windows. Large arched gate to back yard below window in central axis. Three windows and two doors with wooden balconies on both sides of central axis on first floor. Three doors and two windows on both sides of central gate on ground floor. Full-frontage horizontal bands above openings of ground and first floor. Band elevated above gate interrupted by rectangular moulding.
Architectural historical value as a unique example of a typical gate-building. Cultural historical value because it is the first known example of an apartment building on the island. Architectural historical value because it is one of the oldest examples of concrete building on the island. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
