Name of property:
Detached one-storey corner structure with a symmetrical set-up. Rectangular front section covered with two parallel hipped roofs and adjoining square rear section with pyramidal roof. Profiled cornice over façades, pilasters on corners. Front façade with portico. Plain triangular fronton supported by caryatides on base. Full frontage short front terrace. Pillared fencing continues as stone walls to sides. Forms twin structure with Witteweg 48, however with caryatides of a different design.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value as a traditionally set up stone-built dwelling with hipped roofs, adjoining larger rear section and a portico, and because of the rare neo-classicist portico with caryatides. Ditto, as one of a series of four basically similar properties. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
