Detached one-storey structure. Main section with sala, front and rear gallery and two rear wings on both sides of a patio. Three parallel hipped roofs over main section and two transverse hipped roofs placed in line over each wing. All roofs with cement hips and ridges with finials. Front façade with triangular decorated fronton above cornice and pilasters on corners. Central door and flanking windows with fanlights. Front terrace with fan-shaped stairs.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value because of the floor plan with a sala, front and rear gallery and a patio flanked by two wings, a lay-out typical of Curaçao and of Scharloo in particular. Specific value because it was built as the oldest club of Scharloo, ‘Club de Gezelligheid’. Specific value as part of a protected monumental townscape.
