One storey complex situated on a hilltop at Pos Cabai. Rectangular core area surrounded by galleries on three sides. Front addition. Full-frontage front and rear terrace with stairs. Cylindrical water wells in front part and on rear corners of premises. Two graves and wooden servant’s quarter.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value as a country estate with a composite lay-out with a core area, rear gallery and front addition. Historical value because of the 17th century graves, oldest on Curaçao, and because of its location close to the site of the first Dutch fortification. Ensemble value because of the coherence of country estate, terraces, wooden servant’s quarter, wells and graves.
