Former salt plantation with main structures laid out on an elevated platform. Main building: one storey structure with rectangular floor plan. Gable roof over core area, adjoining slant roofs over galleries. Funnel-shaped gables with shoulders and 19th century top end. Two dormers on both sides of roof. Front terrace with slave bell and cistern below terrace floor. Plantation facilities include: a magasina, remnants of corrals, wells, pos di pia and remnants of saltpans.
Architectural historical and cultural historical value as a country house with a core and galleries typical of Curaçao. Ditto because of the unique 18th century magasina, the cistern below the terrace and the storeroom in the base. Monumental ensemble value because of the setting and the coherence of buildings, facilities and saltpans.
